CELESTE AT THE LANESBOROUGH HOTEL

We visited this restaurant on the 13th July 2016
 

Celeste is a modern fine dining concept curated by three Michelin-starred Chef Eric Frechon with his protégé from Epicure at Le Bristol, Paris - Executive Chef Florian Favario. Being in one of the best hotels in London, we thought it would be worth checking out. And how pleasantly surprised were we !!

We saw the offer on Bookatable for £35 plus service charge for 3 courses & a glass of champagne. And it just goes to show that 'Special Offers' do work. We had never even heard of this restaurant before and now we are recommending it to all of our friends !
 

Firstly the restaurant is beautiful and it is has a unique design, set in an Acropolis Grecian theme, with a beautiful glass dome ceiling.
For starters there was a choice of either Cornish brown crab salad with dill mayonnaise, celery & fennel or a Grilled vegetable terrine lemon caper, vinaigrette.

For main course we had a choice of Angus Beef ‘Tomate farcie’ stuffed courgette flower, roasted red pepper coulis or Cod brandade with Ratte mashed potatoes, roasted tomato juice.

The lemony palette cleanser was sublime and nicer than the actual dessert, all of us wanted more.

Dessert was a choice of Caraïbes chocolate with cocoa sponge, chocolate sorbet & crémeux or Wild strawberries & sorbet, sponge fingers & verbena ‘Chantilly’

 

Pink Candy floss was given to everyone for fun, topped with edible gold.

We are highly recommending this restaurant for an evening out with friends or a special occassion. And you must take advantage of this great offer -  or any other offer they may have.
