This lovely French restaurant L'Atelier De Joel Robuchon is spread over 3 floors, they have the open kitchen and bar seats, where you can watch the chefs cook, on the ground floor. This floor has a lovely water feature wall to the back of the room and red mood setting colours and lighting. We prefer this room.

 

On the middle floor there is the brightly light black and white tiled room. But we feel this is like sitting in a posh Fish and Chip shop!!

 

And on the top floor there is a very cool and cosy bar with an open fireplace. It also has a very nice outside roof terrace. And is a great place to go for a drink, we recommend this.

 

Being situated in the heart of theatre-land Robuchon does a great pre-theatre dinner with the choice of either 2 or 3 courses, depending on how much time you have.

 

You simply have to try their mash potato it is ¾ butter and ¼ finely puréed mash and it is to die for !!

 

The also have a very scrumptious Foie Gras burger.

 

A meal in this restaurant can work out quite expensive, so it is really worth checking out the food first with one of these great Pre theatre deals.

 

We have been told that their sister restaurant Robuchon in Paris is so incredible and so much better than the London one, that it is worth jumping on the Eurostar to try it, but we have yet to do this ourselves.

 

We give this a good 7.5/10 (with the mash potato a 12/10 !!)
