The Roux restaurants are both of an extremely high standard but our preference is just slightly Parliament Square. This elegant restaurant serves fine contemporary French/European food and is set within a grand Georgian period house, the setting is beautiful and traditional.

Even though their offer was for a 3 course meal, by the time they have served all their extras, like an aperitif, the amuse bouche, a palette cleanser, an extra dish the chef has made, some mini donuts with dipping sauce, some after dessert chocolates!!, it becomes more of an incredible 8 course meal, to the point where you just cant eat any more!

The head chef at Roux Parliament is Steve Groves has a very impressive CV which includes Le Gavroche, The Ledbury, The Greenhouse and Noma in Copenhagen and even Buckingham Palace!! Occasionally Steve hold Cooking Masterclass days, which we have been told are worth signing up for.

Michel Roux Jr's, Roux at the Landau is set within the lovely 5 star Langham Hotel and the dining rooms is very impressive and grand. Again the food is great but in our opinion is marginally beaten by the food at Parliament Square.

With both restaurants you can see why Michel Roux Jr and father Albert, the Roux family have earned and deserve all their accolades.

We score Roux at Landau 8/10 and Roux at Parliament Square a good 8.5/10 and recommend both these restaurants
