This is another nice restaurant, set within a lovely hotel Browns of Mayfair. The décor is fashioned with olden style wooden panelled walls and white table cloths. We went there in Wimbledon week so all the food had a Wimbledon theme, and was either shaped into tennis balls or little tennis tennis rackets.

 

On the evening we went to Hix, there were quite a few celebrities dining there that evening, including the ex-Conservative MP and runner up Mayor of London, Zac Goldsmith. And the next day there were articles about it in the evening newspaper.

 

Mark Hix is famous for his meats and he doesn't disappoint. The quality of his meats are top notch. However just a word of warning, if you are having the steak tartare in any of his restaurants, watch out for the chilli !!

 

You have a very good meal, in a nice hotel, in a lovely part of town.

 

We gave this a 7/10 and it is worth a visit.
