Based on a Parisian style Bistro, the Galvin Brothers, Chris and Jeff Galvin, have another one of their successful restaurants in the chain offering classic French food. Galvin Bistrot de Luxe is situated in Baker Street, and is an averagely nice restaurant. But in our opinion their best restaurant is Le Chapelle near Shoreditch, it is a converted chapel complete with beautifully arched, stained glass windows, and is a gorgeous restaurant.
We went to Galvin Bistrot de Luxe on an Opentable offer and the food we had was to a good standard, however we didn't feel that we would want to pay the full menu price for a meal there. Whereas in Le Chapelle you are in a beautiful setting serving good quality food and so therefore does deserves that extra expense.
