Pollen Street Social is great and you do need to try it. Jason Atherton is a great chef and definitely deserves his Michelin Stars.

 

For a long time his lamb was our favourite cooked Lamb in London (it has recently been marginally knocked off its perch by Helene Darroze at the Connaught Hotel).

 

We have visited Pollen Street Social with about 20 people all in all, and every single person has loved it. And we haven't heard any complaints to the contrary.

 

They also do a pretty good Expresso Martini, probably our 2nd favourite one in London. We discovered that the bar manager that was making our Expresso Martinis was actually trained by the creator of the Expresso Martini !!

 

Apparently Jason Athertons Japanese inspired restaurant Sosharu at 64 Turnmill Street, London EC1M is supposed to be excellent too. We will be reviewing it in the New Year.
