We must say that we had only ever heard great things about this restaurant and we were very excited about going there. But maybe we had built up too higher expectations as sadly we weren't that impressed.

 

The meal costs around £120 per head including service charge and for that price we were a little disappointed, we were expecting to be wowed but we were not. It probably works better as a lunch time restaurant, they do some great offers for lunch at a cheaper price.

 

The food is certainly of a high standard but there was nothing there that stood out to say that was exceptional. None of the dishes put us in Food Heaven. Even their butter which they seem pretty proud of didn't quite hit the spot and we are all butter fiends.

 

The service is great, and the restaurant is lovely and you certainly have a very good meal and enjoyable evening there. But we wouldn't rush back, there are too many other exciting restaurants appearing on London's horizon nowadays.
