MAZE by GORDON RAMSAY
Not liking most of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, and reading bad reviews of Maze we were a bit nervous to go to this restaurant, but with expectations so low, we didnt think we could be disappointed - and luckily we weren't !! In fact we were quite impressed!!
On a Monday night, if you get on the list, they have a special offer of 50% off food, which make the meal extremely reasonable for the quality. In their kitchen they have a Jaspar grill which really make the steaks very special, the flavouring is distinctive and unique, and we do recommend the steaks.
We went for the small plates of Smashed Advocado with Sweet Potato Crisps which were delicious. Then the Burnt Ends. Followed by the starter of Chilli and Garlic Prawns. With sides of Portobello Mushrooms, Charred Hispi Cabbage, Buttermilk Mash, Mac n Cheese, and the fabulously displayed Onion Rings with dips
All in all and for the price we paid at 50%, it was a very good meal, and we will go back, when in the area on a Monday night.
